How do you get more focus in a world full of distractions?

In our training courses, you’ll discover how the brain deals with distraction and focus, and which routines you can use to make the most of them.
Focus ON/OFF

Duration: 3 hours
Language: Dutch or English.
Participants: Maximum of 12.
In recent years, the number of stimuli we are exposed to has increased fivefold. As a result, we are more and more interrupted in our tasks. The more interruptions, the lower our productivity, and the less time we have for complex tasks. As a result, we often feel (too) busy and experience more stress.
In the Focus ON/OFF training course, you will discover how the brain processes distractions, identify your concentration leaks, and learn techniques to optimize your focus.
Our experienced and enthusiastic trainers will guide you in developing a personalized action plan with new habits for sustained focus and less stress.
After completing this training session, you will:
The Programme
In the first block, we introduce the Focus Model. You'll learn how distraction works in the brain and get familiar with the four concentration leaks.
Then, in each following block, we dive deeper into the concentration leaks:
- Engagement - How do you prevent your attention from drifting away?
- Energy - How do you recharge the right way?
- Internal stimuli - How do you manage thoughts, tasks, and ideas that make your mind feel full?
- External stimuli - How do you stay focused on the right things in a hectic environment?
In the final block, we complete your personal Focus Plan—so you can immediately apply the training in daily practice.
"Great practical tips and tricks, delivered in a well-structured way by a trainer who combines theory and practice with humor. Comes with a great little book in a handy box."
— Gertjan Schram
Focus Routine

Duration: 3 hours
Language: Dutch or English.
Participants: Maximum of 12.
How to Integrate Focus into Your Work Rhythm?
We have more freedom than ever to structure our workweek, with increasing flexibility and remote work options. This saves travel time and makes balancing work and personal life easier. However, it also has a downside: it makes us more restless, less productive, and more frequently stressed. In learning new habits we try to get a grip, but it’s not enough. The real solution lies in a more integrated approach—a new routine.
In this new half-day training, we guide you through the brain’s natural flow and key themes that influence our work rhythm, backed by scientific insights and real-world examples. Using templates and practical examples, you will design a new routine during the training—which you can start using right away.
Focus Routine is the perfect follow-up to the Focus ON/OFF training course but can certainly also be taken independently.
After completing this training, you will:
The Programme
In the first block, we introduce the topic of focus routine and briefly touch on behavioral change. Using the focus curve, you'll gain insight into the brain's natural flow. We dive deeper into the question: how do you integrate focus into your work rhythm?
In the second and third blocks, we explore the science behind effective focus routines. Based on theory and real-world examples, you'll design both an hour-long and a full-day routine, with attention to the different phases of focus.
Finally, we look ahead to your next steps and wrap up with a shared reflection and time for questions.
Insightful and eye-opening! Increased awareness of how I structure my work, with a great balance between listening and hands-on exercises.
